Teething Bites.

Hudson's bottom two teeth made their appearance around 8 months, but the teething symptoms started much, much earlier. Around 4 months old, we had a very drooly and irritable baby, even if we were told it wasn't true teething at this point. Fast forward to now at 10 months old and his teeth are coming in fast, two at a time. Hudson is currently working on his upper left central and lateral incisor, and it has NOT been easy or breezy.

Teething can be a very trying time for parents. Between seeing your normally happy babe become irritable and upset due to pain. Your fantastic eater, not even wanting their favorite food. The super sleeper, avoiding naps or waking every few hours. It is ALL difficult and makes parenting even harder. Even though I am currently in the throws of it with my fiancé, it IS getting better/easier.

Some tips that have worked in our household are;

▹Pacifiers filled with water and then frozen.

▹#Boon pulp silicone feeder, filled with pureed fruits (we like blueberry) then frozen.

▹Wash cloths soaked, rolled up like a taquito, then frozen.

▹Gum massage with a toothbrush, we love the #Smilefrida brand.

▹Chew toys, LOTS and LOTS of chew toys. We love #Sophielagiraffe Fan Fan the fawn, and the #BabyBanana teething toothbrush in the corn shape.

- Side note, I get made fun of a lot for calling them "chew toys", I can't help it! Working with animals for over 10 years, I just can't break certain lingo ☺

Hope these little tips and tricks help get your baby 'grinnin' again.

Until next time,
